Revolutionizing travel through artificial intelligence
VisitAI was born from a classic tourist moment: standing in the Vatican in March 2025, surrounded by breathtaking architecture, and having absolutely no idea what I was looking at. That's when the lightbulb went off (brighter than the Sistine Chapel ceiling, some might say). What if your smartphone could be your personal art history professor? Four months later, boom - VisitAI was born!
To make cultural and historical knowledge accessible to everyone, anywhere, breaking down language barriers and enhancing the travel experience through the power of artificial intelligence.
A world where every traveler can deeply connect with the places they visit, understanding their significance and stories regardless of language or prior knowledge.
Standing in the Vatican, staring at magnificent architecture, and having absolutely no clue what I was looking at. That awkward moment when you realize Google isn't helping and tour guides cost more than your flight. "There has to be a better way!" - famous last words before starting a tech project.
Two weeks of pure UI magic! ✨ Designing screens, picking colors, and making buttons look so good they could win beauty contests. The prototype was so beautiful it gave me the energy of a thousand espressos. "This might actually work!" - first sign of dangerous optimism.
Time to make the magic happen! Backend development, APIs, and the joy of making computers talk to each other. Spoiler alert: they weren't very chatty at first. Coffee consumption reached levels that would concern a doctor.
First working version achieved! 🎉 Sure, it had more bugs than a summer picnic, but it WORKED! Buildings were getting recognized (sometimes correctly), and I felt like a tech wizard. Bugs included: app crashes, wrong buildings, and occasionally identifying my coffee mug as the Colosseum.
The month of "Wait, why is it doing that?" Bug hunting season was officially open! Fixed crashes, improved accuracy, and added payment methods. Turns out people want to pay for apps that actually work - who knew? 💰
Launch day! VisitAI went live and ready to help confused tourists worldwide. First app ever built, definitely not the last. Turns out this whole "building apps" thing is pretty addictive. Plot twist: I actually enjoyed the journey! 🎯
